IATI Identifier: GB-GOV-1-300612

Description

Work carried out under this fund will focus directly on the five pillars of the UK’s 2017 Humanitarian Reform Policy and will support the UK to deliver on its Grand Bargain and World Humanitarian Summit commitments; contributing to improving the way the humanitarian system works for beneficiaries. The aims of the Fund are to: (i) Generate policy thinking and innovation by convening eminent thought leaders to reflect on some of the most pressing humanitarian challenges and think creatively about future priorities. (ii) Deliver catalytic work to unblock problems with current or future reform priorities (iii) Complement and draw on DFID’s Research and Evidence Department’s research and in-country innovations to develop future policy thinking e.g. comparing approaches across countries to identify policies that best enable programme delivery. (iv) Provide ‘seed’ funding to develop new policy initiatives or interventions
