CSSF: Strengthening the Rule of Law in Jordan
Project disclaimer
Description
The Strengthening the Rule of Law in Jordan Programme exists in support of the UK’s 10-year partnership with Jordan, aimed at building Jordan’s resilience to economic and political shocks while maintaining a strong bedrock of stability and security. The Programme’s primary activity is to provide technical support to reinforce key democratic and legal principles necessary for a trustworthy and independent judiciary. It will do so by supporting the implementation of the Royal Court Commission legal reform recommendations and the GoJ judicial sector strategy. The ultimate impact objective of the Programme is an improved Jordanian legal system and administration of justice through the implementation of the Royal Commission recommendations, with enhanced private sector investment and competitiveness.
