Description

This project delivers the Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge (MEK) component of HSNP Phase 3. The first (Monitoring) and second (Capacity Assessment) workstreams of the MEK contract are focused on providing technical assistance and support to the National Drought Management Authority (NDMA) as they take over the management and implementation of the HSNP in its third phase. The third (Process Review) and fourth (Impact Evaluations) workstreams are focussed on providing an assessment of the economic inclusion programme pilots, which are being implemented by the Department for Social Development (DSD) as part of the World Bank’s Kenya Social Economic Inclusion Programme (KSEIP). In addition, there is budget for ‘deep dive’ studies which are allocated flexibly and designed to be responsive to emergent needs.
