Description

DFID Nepal is designing a new programme to promote inclusive growth through the creation of paid jobs in Nepal. The programme will promote activities that contribute towards structural transformation of the economy and creation of pad jobs. In Nepal, structural transformation will mean a shift in the allocation of the people and capital away from subsistence agriculture and low productivity informal work towards higher productivity activity and sectors.

Objectives

The research will inform the design of the new programme focused on structural transformation of Nepal's economy and job creation.
