Description

The project will break the cycle of poverty and violence for 786 women and girls with disabilities (WGWD) in Nigeria’s FCT and Nasarawa States through social, economic and political empowerment. After three years, WGWD will have more voice, choice and control. 820 others will benefit from caregiver support groups, training or savings groups, from which increased income will indirectly benefit 3712 household members. The disability and women’s movements and 14 communities will be more inclusive.
