Description
The DFID Malawi Health Sector Programme (MHSP) provides support to the Government of Malawi’s (GoM) five year health sector strategy, the Health Sector Strategic Plan 2017-2022 (HSSP). The Malawi Health Sector Programme – Technical Assistance component (MHSP-TA) was managed by Options Consultancy Services Ltd from 2013 to 2018. The purpose of MHSP-TA was to improve technical and managerial capacity within the health system through the provision of effective technical assistance, as an adjunct to the Department for International Development’s (DFID) health sector budget support provision. The programme focused on three sub-output areas: · Strengthened stewardship, coordination and action in the health sector · Enhanced financial management and democratic accountability · Strengthened planning and monitoring at all levels
