Description

Project Aim: Lives saved, civilians protected, suffering reduced and resilience built  The overall impact of the project is to promote sustainable return/ reintegration of internally displaced Afghans through improved resilience capacity, risk reduction, and protection. The focus will be on an integrated approach reducing negative coping strategies and strengthening resilience to future shocks. The project will be framed by complementary and coordinated lines of interventions, linking emergency, resilience, and sustainability, to provide a relevant response; ensuring a resilience focus, with the empowerment of local communities and strengthening of national structures as the foundation. Outputs: The three medium-term outcomes for the action are: SURVIVE– Temporary or second-line ‘bridging’ solutions for survival and protection of displaced Afghans in a post-emergency phase INTEGRATION – Socio-economic integration of Afghan women, girls, boys, and men in prolonged states of displacement, and inclusion in national development framework  RETURN – Recovery of Afghan families and communities returning from internal displacement
