Description

NCCSP2 aims to increase the resilience of vulnerable communities to climate change. It provides strategic support to the Govt. of Nepal to design and implement Local Adaptation Plans of Action. This will improve resilience of 700,000 poor and vulnerable people (especially women) to floods, landslides, and droughts in the most remote districts of Nepal.

Objectives

NCCSP2 has three key objectives: mainstream inclusive climate resileince in long-term development planning; improved and transparent management of climate finance by municipalities; vulnerable communities benefit from effective service delivery that enables the adoption of diversified climate resilient livelihood activities
