Description

Output 5 (WASH in emergencies): National and subnational governments and partners have enhanced capacity to develop an adaptive WASH cluster contingency response plan, integrated baseline data, and effectively coordinate inclusive and gender-responsive emergency response., which contributes to Climate Change, Disaster Risks And Envionmental Degradation, Climate Change, Disaster Risks And Envionmental Degradation (Covid), Safe And Equitable Water, Sanitation And Hygiene Services And Practices, Water, Sanitation And Hygiene Systems And Empowerment Of Communities, Water, Sanitation And Hygiene Systems And Empowerment Of Communities (Covid). UNICEF aims to achieve this through Advocacy And Public Engagement, Operational Support To Programme Delivery, Systems Strengthening And Institution Building, Systems Strengthening To Leave No One Behind, United Nations Working Together. This contributes to the following Country Programme result: Girls and boys and their families, especially the most vulnerable, increasingly use safely managed and sustainable Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services, adopt critical hygiene practices, and live in resilient Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) environments.
