The Brazil Prosperity Fund programme aims to support Brazil’s economic modernisation, where increased productivity will facilitate increased sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction. To achieve this, the programme will focus on four key areas for development: Trade, Energy, Green Finance and Future Cities. This programme will help advance economic development in Brazil and supports a range of Sustainable Development Goals, in particular Sustainable Development Goal 17 ‘Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the global partnership for sustainable development’. The programme will also help advance our National Security Strategy and UK Aid Strategy objectives. In addition, it will create opportunities for international and UK businesses.
