Supporting Afghanistan's Basic Services
Description
The Supporting Afghanistan's Basic Services programme (SABS) maintains basic service provision, focused on education, health and support for early recovery and livelihoods programming in Afghanistan. With a particular focus on women and girls, it will support citizens access to health, education and livelihoods services to meet their daily needs. -To support delivery of education services by sustaining and expanding access to primary education. - To sustain women and girls access to health care. And availability of community-based health interventions. - To increase the capacity of Afghans to meet their basic daily needs and, where possible, increase resilience to shocks. The programme will deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals 1-6 as well as the International Development Strategy.
