To support evidence generation and the provision of targeted projects through provincial monitoring visits, evidence generation, and small-scale, targeted pro-poor development and capacity building projects. To help overcome the challenges of weak evidence and a shifting context in Afghanistan by funding a 5-year package of evidence. This includes monitoring, conflict and political economy analysis, expert information sharing and challenge functions, and a call-down contract for ad-hoc evidence demands. The programme will include a flexible fund, which is able to meet emerging development needs, based on a successful previous model.
