Description

Capacity building, technical assistance and mentoring to Ministry of Interior officials will be the main activities of the programme. Mentoring and advice to budget, payroll and intelligence officials of the MoI will be provided through UK secondments to RSM and EUPOL, managed by Stabilisation Unit and overseen by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). Longer-term capacity building and skills transfer on strategic planning, financial management, human resource management, women in policing and public outreach will be delivered through a bilateral programme of technical assistance managed by the Department for International Development (DFID).
