Description
The project aims to reduce infant mortality and improve maternal health by ensuring accessibility and quality of essential government health services and social welfare schemes. PNC for women will be improved and malnutrition decreased amongst children below two years of age in two of the poorest districts in West Bengal. Young women, particularly those from minority groups will be empowered and act as 'Change Agents' to contribute towards achieving the MDGs.;
