The aim of the programme is to improve access to quality mental health services, reduce stigma around mental health issues, and build the capacity of organisations working in the mental health sector in Kenya. It is specifically targeting applications from Kenya-based and Kenya-registered NGOs and CSOs, in order to pilot direct funding to Southernpartners through a Comic Relief and DFID Aid Match partnershipand reflects both partners’ strategic ambition to shift greater resource –and power –to partners in the Global South.
