Last updated: 17/01/2021
IATI Identifier: GB-1-202295

Description

To reduce the Maternal Mortality Ratio, Child Mortality Ratio and Infant Mortality Ratio by strengthening the provision of Primary Health by the South African National Department of Health. This will contribute to a reduction of the 2009 baseline mortality ratios from 310 per 100,000 live births to 270 per 100,000 live births for maternal mortality, 56 live births per 1000 to 40 per 1000 live births for child mortality, and 40 per 1000 live births to 32 per live births for infant mortality in South Africa by April 2015. This contributes towards our MDG’s by reducing the deaths of mothers and young children.
